The Strategic Foresight & Futures Lab serves as PRESPA Institute’s platform for anticipating political, societal, economic, technological, and geopolitical change.
The programme applies foresight methodologies, including horizon scanning, scenario development, trend analysis, systems thinking, and anticipatory governance, to help decision-makers prepare for uncertainty and emerging challenges.
By connecting long-term thinking with practical policy relevance, the Lab supports institutions and communities in developing resilience, strategic awareness, and the capacity to navigate complex futures. Through foresight exercises, simulations, dialogues, and analytical outputs, it promotes a culture of preparedness and informed decision-making.

Futures Literacy for Anticipatory Societies (FLARE)
PRESPA Institute participates in the COST Action Futures Literacy for Anticipatory Societies (FLARE), a European research and cooperation network dedicated to advancing futures literacy, foresight methodologies, and anticipatory governance. Through the initiative, PRESPA contributes to the development of shared approaches, tools, and knowledge aimed at strengthening long-term thinking and preparedness across institutions and societies.
